Chiropodist or Podiatrist?

Simply put, there is no difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist, both names cover the same profession.

Chiropodists/Podiatrists deal with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb and are qualified to treat a wide range of patients including those with arthritis, diabetes or sports injuries. They can also perform nail surgery under local anaesthetic. They are qualified to work both privately, and in the NHS.
